Billing, plainly
US dollars. Paddle may present your local currency at checkout.
VAT, GST, and sales tax are calculated, collected, and remitted by Paddle as merchant of record.
After the trial, monthly, automatically, at the then-current price for your seat count, until you cancel.
During the trial, cancellation stops the first charge. After you have been billed, it takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. No further charges.
Seats are non-refundable, with the statutory exceptions set out in the Refund Policy.
At least 30 days’ notice by email before a change applies to your subscription.
Questions
Paddle. Paddle.com Market Ltd is our merchant of record — they are the seller on your invoice, they process the payment, and they calculate and remit VAT, GST, and sales tax in your jurisdiction. Kalmantic never sees your card number.
Per user. A seat is for one named individual and cannot be shared or used concurrently by two people. You can reassign a seat when someone leaves the team.
Yes. Paddle prorates the difference — added seats are charged for the remainder of the period, removed seats reduce the next invoice. Removing a seat does not refund the current period.
Yes. Self-serve signup starts a 30-day Paddle trial with a card on file. You are not charged the $100 seat during the trial. When the trial ends, Paddle charges the monthly seat unless you cancel first. Staff beta invitations are separate: they have no card and do not become a paid subscription.
During the trial, cancellation stops the first charge. After you have been billed, cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. You keep full access until then and you are not billed again. We do not prorate or refund partial months — the full policy is in the Refund Policy.
The two you already pay for. The third vendor coding agent is ours and comes with $20 in preloaded credit. What you are buying is the disagreement between them.
Prices are in US dollars and exclusive of tax unless your checkout shows a tax-inclusive total. Paddle determines the correct treatment for your country and shows it before you pay.
